The countdown is on for our first-ever Joyful Spaces fundraising event! Get your ticket now for 8/31!
The Joyful Spaces program is at risk of closing due to funding, we must rise up and fight for this program to stay in our community! This LGBTQ+ youth centered program is integral and unique as it provides:
K-12 youth leadership development in GSA's across Denver
LGBTQ+ Inclusivity workshops for adult staff in schools and nonprofits
Inclusivity Assessments for school/org administrative teams to impact policy & practice
Every dollar made from this event will go towards keeping Joyful Spaces in schools!
Things to know for the event:
Everyone needs a ticket! Youth tickets are free, adult tickets are sliding scale (but we could really use your donations). Link in bio!
This event is at Quince Coffee House, primarily outdoors and on the first floor. Please be COVID-conscious; masking is encouraged.
Drag Make-up 101 Class will begin at 2:00! Bring your own makeup. Drag show at 3PM!
My mom is generously making us homemade Puerto Rican food! There will be meat and veggie options available for purchase.
Clothing donations will be resold at sliding scale prices. You name your own price on the scale. Every dollar we earn helps Joyful Spaces keep doing important community work!
ALL AGES WELCOME! This is a youth-centered event, but everyone is encouraged to participate. Bring the whole family. Did we mention there will be baby goats? And chickens!
